100 Deviations!

0 min read
Just uploaded my 100th deviation: Solar Tree I shot this picture in Barcelona, where I was earlier this week. It's a solar powered Christmas tree. The colours in the panels shift when you walk around it. Really beautiful. I shot lots more pictures in Barcelona, so they'll keep on coming for a while. Enjoy!

Having sold off the Tamron 70-300mm a few months ago, I went back to using the kitlens that came with the 350D. The Canon 18-55mm is a pretty good lens, but not very fast. Style

0 min read
Browsing through my gallery, I noticed that I don't have a distinct style. The subjects I photograph aren't connected in any way and neither do I apply the same post-processing to each file. I suppose I find it too limiting to settle for certain theme or to keep sticking to a single workflow. Looking through galleries of other photographers who do have their own style, I find that their gallery on the whole look more organized. That and the fact that what they do is more of the same. Now I wonder what is the better aproach. Nobody can instantly recognize a typical Peter Zen photograph. Then again I can still surprise the audience.
